Smudge Tutorial Step 4

Next, I add some necessary details for my critter - horns and "Scutes", the back-plates that guard the spine. I do them roughly, since I know I'll just smudge them into place soon. I use an airbrush tool at 17 pixels soft edge at between 50% and 100% pressure to lay down this color.
