Smudge Tutorial Step 6 (Speckled Scale Suggestion Effect)

Well, here you can see i kept going with that whole airbrush at 17 pixels speckly-scale look. It's an okay effect, and pretty easy...So, this is one path you can take. The second picture here I did some cleanup on with a 5 pixel, 42% pressure smudge tool and airbrush.

Here I do more work on the belly plates and the scutes along the back, as well as the horn highlights.

And I did some final cleanup, clearing up the edges with my smudger and brightening the final highlights with my airbrush.
