Step 1 - The Bones
|[ Previous ] [ Next ]|
|Some dragons, and many other winged creatures have feathered wings. This tutorial covers the basics of how to draw a simple feathered wing. First, you start by outlining the arm and hand of the wing, just like in the Bat-style Dragon Wing tutorial. A bird wing is very much like a bat wing, except that instead of having long fingerbones that extend from the hand, it has a small hand where Primary Feathers extend. They act as the fingerbones to create the leading edge of the wing for a bird or bird-winged animal.|
