Some people choose to have four fingers, just like a human. I tend to go with three, simply because fitting them all in there, with all those joints and shadows can be quite a pain, but two just doesn't look realistic. The goal of the finger-bones is to help the wing maintain an airfoil shape, a curved shape, and three or four really works best for this.
tadaa! Now we've got all our bones in place. But, obviously, this dragon isn't going anywhere without muscles and skin...especially the elastic skin that goes between the fingers and the body to create the lifting surface.
